Sibusiso Mavuso founded SGBS Group in 2018 with a singular conviction: financial clarity shouldn’t be a privilege reserved for large corporations. Too many South African entrepreneurs were navigating their finances in the dark — compliant on paper, but strategically blind to the opportunities sitting right in front of them.
Drawing on deep expertise in accounting, SARS compliance, and financial strategy, he built SGBS into a firm that delivers institutional-level precision at a price point designed for businesses that need it most. Today, SGBS’s client roster spans the full scale — from first-time entrepreneurs to Nasdaq-listed multinationals — each receiving the same strategic rigour, calibrated to where they are.
His philosophy is straightforward: understand the numbers, identify what the client is already entitled to access, and build systems that let them grow with confidence. The government has designed incentives. The regulations have allowances. Most businesses never access either. We change that.
